Chirton Primary

Welcome to the ‘Class of Courage’.

Being the oldest in the school, we work hard to demonstrate the use of the 6R’s at every opportunity. It is important to us that we are great role models for the younger pupils at our school and help to make the school the wonderful place that it is. With a range of year groups within the class, we will undoubtedly be able to form close friendships with our peers and learn to become resilient and reflective young learners.

Although there is lots of hard work to be done, we still manage to find time to have fun with our learning. Among some of the highlights this year I’m sure, will be time spent learning about the Mayan civilisation and making our own chocolate bars to sell, raising money for charities close to our hearts, near and far, and helping to highlight the impact of plastic on our environment through various activities within the community.

As always, we are lucky enough to be supported by sports coaches, music teachers, Big Heart Helpers and many more volunteers throughout the year.  They really do help to make Courage Class’ learning that extra special. If you would like to help out, please do pop in and speak to us. We would love to have you on board our exciting learning journey.

Best wishes,

Mr Parmenter
